Not always. Some jewellery is too worn, fragile or poorly constructed for a straightforward repair to be reliable. In those cases, Tom will explain whether restoration, rebuilding or remodelling would give a better long-term result
Yes. Jewellery accepted into the workshop is recorded and covered while it is in Tom’s care. Any unusually high-value items should be discussed before being left
