20″ Oval Belcher Chain – Recycled Sterling Silver

A traditional oval belcher chain made in recycled sterling silver, with diamond-cut facets applied to each link.

Rather than referring to gemstones, diamond-cut describes the way the surface of the silver is finished. Each oval link is cut with fine, angled facets, allowing the chain to catch and reflect light in a more broken, varied way than a smooth belcher. The effect is understated, adding quiet visual interest without high polish or shine.

The chain is lightly patinised by hand, settling into the cut facets and creating contrast across the surface. This gives the chain a more aged, textured character from the outset, with highlights developing naturally through wear.

At 20 inches, it offers added length and presence, making it well suited to heavier or more sculptural pendants, or to be worn alone as a considered piece.
