The Meaning

Iolite is known for its shifting tones, revealing different shades of blue and violet as it moves through the light.

Often associated with direction and inner clarity, it has a long history as a stone linked to navigation and perspective.

Making & Materials

This ring has been handcrafted around a single Iolite gemstone, selected for its colour variation and depth.

The piece combines sterling silver with 9ct gold, creating contrast within the setting and adding warmth against the cooler tones of the stone. The form is designed to hold the gemstone securely while allowing light to move through it.

Finished by hand at the bench, each surface retains subtle marks from the making process, giving the ring a sense of individuality.

As a one-off piece, it will not be repeated.

The inside of the band carries our hallmark.
